People started calling Blues the Devil”s music a long time ago because its really old gospel music. Some people liked the music but did not like going to church so they played thier own version of church music outside of church. Of course church goers labled it Devil music and the musicians did not mind because to them that sounded kind of cool. Muddy Waters said to play the Blues you have to go to church or “chuch’(Southern accent) My great grandmother explained all this to me years ago.
If God or the Devil make to this guys play in that way….good job!!!
